FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you need a reservation to parasail?
We recommend that you make a reservation for your convenience. That way, you won’t have to wait for a spot to open up on one of the boats. Make sure you are aware of which location your reservation is for. If you go to the wrong location, you will miss your reservation and your seat will be given to someone who is waiting standby. If you cannot keep your reservation, it is mandatory to notify us at least two hours in advance so we can fill your vacancy.
Book OnlineWhen is the best time to go parasailing?
Mornings are the best time to go, because typically there are lighter winds in the morning, which means a better flight for you and less chop in the ocean or bay. Wind tends to pick up as the day goes on. We also are typically a little slower on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday so it is easier to get your entire group a reservation time.
Book OnlineIs there an age limit for parasailing?
Anyone wanting to fly that is under the age of 18 needs to have a parent or guardian sign a release form. The release form can be downloaded, printed, and signed in advanced from our web site. There is a minimum weight limit for flying alone (120 pounds), but our smallest harnesses are equipped to hold kids as light as 40 pounds. Kids under 120 pounds must fly with another person in order to reach the required minimum weight limit.
Book OnlineIs there a weight limit and, if so, what is it?
Yes, there is a weight limit that depends on the wind conditions at the time. Under normal conditions, we recommend that single flyers weigh at least 120 pounds. All flights, single, tandem or triple, should not exceed 400 pounds. THESE WEIGHT LIMITS CAN CHANGE depending on wind conditions. For the safety of our flyers, the captain has the final decision.
Book OnlineHow many people can go up at the same time?
We are allowed up to 3 people in the air at one time, as long as the combined weight does not exceed the maximum weight limit at the time. As always, for our flyer’s safety, our captains have the final decision.
Book OnlineAre spectators allowed to go out on the boat?
As much as we would love to allow spectators to go out on the boat, flyers take first priority. If there are any available seats on the boat at the time of departure, we will gladly take spectators. It is not guaranteed, but you will have a better chance to have a spectator if you book a flight for one of our slower days—usually Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays.
Book OnlineCan minors go on the boat by themselves?
Yes! Every day children go out on the ride alone. Our captains and mates are skilled professionals with many years of experience. Your child’s safety is their number one concern. Click here to download PDF waiver form for minors.

What should we wear?
Most people wear a bathing suit or shorts… however, it is usually a little cooler on the boat so we advise that you bring a sweatshirt, just in case.
Book OnlineWill I see any wildlife?
Frequently our flyers can see a variety of wildlife, including dolphins, sea turtles, and stingrays. Most wildlife is seen earlier in the day when the water is calmer.
Book OnlineDo you rent jet skis?
No; for the past 30 years we have concentrated just on parasailing. However, there are Jet Ski companies in the immediate area of both of our locations, making it very convenient to coordinate multiple activities. If you plan to do both, we recommend parasailing first, since you will be wet and possibly cold after jet skiing.
Book OnlineIs there anywhere that we can watch the parasailing from shore?
You will be able to see the parasails in the air from multiple viewing points, but unfortunately it is nearly impossible to identify the person in the chute from land.
Book OnlineCan I bring a camera with me on the boat?
Yes, you are allowed to bring your own camera onboard at your own risk. We are not responsible for any lost or broken items. We also offer a Professional Photo Package to capture your experience.
Book OnlineWhat is included in the Professional Photo package?
40-60 photos of your trip throughout your flight that will be uploaded onto your smartphone.
Book OnlineWhat happens if we have to cancel our reservation?
We understand plans change. If for some reason you will need to cancel your reservation, we ask you notify us before 6 PM the night ahead of your reserved boat departure. This will ensure we can fill the empty spaces. We do reserve the right to charge up to a 50% cancelation fee, based on your party’s total reservation, for all parties who do not notify us prior and are considered ’no shows’.
